The Cat’s Pyjamas Emporium in Wisbech has taken first prize in a national competition with a winning window display.

Inspired by the town’s Arts Festival week co-owner Tracey Moll decided to enter the competition run by a national company.

The competition was run over the internet via social media and required the entrants to create and then photograph a window display featuring work by the two designers Anne Stokes and Lisa Parker.

Tracey said: “Since we opened the shop just over a year ago we have always tried to make our window displays as interesting and varied as possible to reflect the range of products we offer.

“To have our efforts recognised at a national level is a real credit for a tiny boutique store in small market town. We are thrilled to have won the first prize.”
