St John’s Fen End shed fire started deliberately

Police are appealing for information after a shed was set on fire in St John’s Fen End yesterday.

At 7.55pm, two crews from Wisbech were called to a blazing shed on Jubilee Close.

Firefighters extinguished it using a hose reel and returned to their station by 9.10pm.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact the police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
