A vehicle failed to stop for police in Wisbech and a pursuit followed


A police car chase in Wisbech ended when the car puled up to a h alt and the driver ran off.

The chase was at around 3.30am on Saturday 23.

A Wisbech Police spokesman said: “A vehicle failed to stop for police in Wisbech and a controlled pursuit commenced.

“The driver decamped from the vehicle on Prince of Wales Close.

“A passenger from the vehicle was arrested at the scene and was taken to the Police Investigation Centre.”

“Enquiries continue in relation to this offence. The vehicle was seized by Police.

“If you witnessed the driving or have any information on this vehicle please call 101 quoting incident 87 of 23/12/2017.”
