New Taxi office in Wisbech. Cox's taxis have opened up a new office and offering a taxi deal to Liquid nightclub in Peterborough.

Going out just got better thanks to a chain of Peterborough nightclubs who have teamed up with a Wisbech taxi firm to offer mates rates on rides and drinks.

The Liquid chain of clubs is giving a pass to party with £50 worth of free drinks to anyone who books their cab ride there and back with Cox’s Taxis.

The deal has been brokered to help give a budget happy boost to a night out with friends.

Martin Brown, spokesman for Cox’s, said; “The scheme has been trialled in other areas and has been so successful the club wanted to extend the deal out to people who live in the Fens area.”

With a choice of four, six and eight seater cabs, the deal means a gang of friends could benefit from a real bargain, he said.

“Booking a return cab to Peterborough normally costs around £70 so to know you can get fifty of that back on drinks is an unbelievable deal,” he said.

To qualify, people must pay for their cab fare in full up front although they do not need to book a time slot back in advance.

They will then be issued with a voucher to get their free drinks back from any of the Liquid nightclub chains including Liquid, Envy, Bar Rock and New York New York.
