A MOTOCROSS rider suffered a fractured collarbone and femur in a crash at a Fenland track on Saturday.
The rider, in his 30s, suffered the fall at Washbrooke Farm Motocross Track, in Doddington.
Medical crews, including the ambulance service and Magpas Helimedix, were called to the crash at 2.47pm.
A Magpas spokesman said: “The Magpas team administered pain relief and sedated the man, before measures were then put into place to straighten his fractures and protect his spine.
“The Helimedix then airlifted him to Addenbrooke’s Major Trauma Centre, monitoring his condition all the way. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a serious but stable condition.”
