More than £700 raised for charity at The Rotary Club of March’s gala dinner

MP Steve Barclay was guest of honour as 70 people attended The Rotary Club of March’s gala dinner.

The lavish four course affair, at the Conservative Club, Creek Road, raised more than £700 for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Mr Barclay gave an account of his life since being elected before answering questions from the guests.

He was presented with a March Rotary Club banner by president Peter Bennett.

A driver had a lucky escape today when his lorry careered across the carriageway, narrowly missed a lamp post, took down some road signs and ended up on its side.
