A five year old animal lover has raised money to help her local RSPCA centre.

Millie Lynch, a pupil at Tilney All Saints Primary School, reached a £155 total after arranging a collection.

Soo Bell, class teacher, said: “Millie has been collecting money from everyone. What a super star she is, and to have raised a staggering £155 on her own is just wow.”

The youngster decided the best way to help was to ask for old towels from her local community, as they are always in need of them at her nearest centre, in the village.

She enrolled the help of her mum, Maria Lynch, as she needed old towels collecting.

Next she asked people locally for donations.

The Eau Brink re homing centre is run by West Norfolk RSPCA, an independent Branch of the RSPCA, on the outskirts of King’s Lynn.

The Branch has been running for more than 30 years and re homes on average 20 dogs a month, 12 cats and a number of rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals.
