March cadets get to fly in Lynx helicopter

Three cadet corporals had a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly in a Lynx helicopter with an army regiment.

Cpl Joe Goodman, Cpl Alfie Jaggard and Cpl Kyle McLean, of 1220 (March) Squadron, were taken up in the helicopter by members of the No 7 Regiment, 671 Squadron, Army Air Corps.

The cadets flew from RAF Wittering and took a 20-minute journey around Rutland Water.

Cpl Jaggard said: “It was such a great experience, something I will never forget.”
