Members of March Can’t Sing Choir Committee presented Parkinson’s March Group with a cheque for £100.

The choir, a non-profit making group which meets every Wednesday evening at Trinity Hall, raised the money over a number of months.

The Parkinson’s March Group was chosen to be supported this half-year following a request by Mrs Summerlin to entertain at one of the Group’s monthly meetings.

Choir committee treasurer Valerie Gayler said: “The committee feels that as long as we can find a small surplus, we would like to donate to the March community by selecting a local charity to support each half-year”.

Regular choir members will be asked to make suggestions for future recipients of the choirs’ charitable donations.

The cheque presentation was made on Wednesday October 3.
