A man has died after he was in collision with a lorry at Peterborough.

The incident happened at the A1 Peterborough Service Station at Haddon.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: “Emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal collision at the A1 Peterborough Service Station at Haddon.

“We were called at 1.49pm. Ambulance and fire are at the scene.

“The collision involved a HGV and a man who has sadly died.

“The A605 is open, however HGVs are not able to access the service station and are advised to avoid the area.”
