A man has been arrested after he was seen firing a gun in Wisbech.

He was seen shooting the BB pistol in St Peter’s Church Garden on Friday morning (July 14) by a Fenland council CCTV operator.

Cameras scan the town centre park, off the main market square.

Police said enquiries into the incident are continuing. The man is not believed to have fired the gun at a person.
