MAGPAS Helimedix flew to the Fens yesterday after a woman suffered a cardiac arrest in her March home.

Doctors to the house in March at 10.45am and resuscitated the woman, who was thought to be in her 60s.

She was given advanced life support before being escorted to Peterborough City Hospital. On arrival, her condition was critical.

The Helimedix returned to Fenland at about 6pm after a 29-year-old woman fell from a horse in a Wisbech field.

She was given strong pain relief for suspected pelvic injuries before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in King’s Lynn. On arrival, her condition was non-life-threatening.
