The A47 between Thorney and Guyhirn was partially blocked in both directions due to an overturned lorry that ended up in a ditch.

Drivers faced delays as a result of the incident which happened on the A47 at Thorney Road.

A police spokesman said: “At 2.50pm today officers attended a damage only RTC on the A47 at Guyhirn.

“The carriageway was closed while the vehicle was recovered.”

The incident affected traffic between Peterborough and Guyhirn.
