It was pans at the ready at a March primary school when they had flipping good fun at the annual school pancake race day.

More than 220 children at All Saints Academy took part in the race with medals for winners and stickers for everyone who took part.

Organiser of the event at the County Road school was Year 5 teacher Hannah Orbell and her class.

Holly Baumber, assistant head, said: “We do a pancake event every year for the whole school to have a bit of fun. There’s lots of different races and fun for them all.”

Teachers also took part in the event.

English language success by Wisbech college at Cornerways Nursery

After a ten week English language course delivered by the College of West Anglia Isle campus, Wisbech, over 60 workers from Cornerways Nursery in Stoke Ferry have received their certificates of completion.
