A takeaway marked it’s 24th birthday by presenting £125 to two worthy causes.

Eastern Promise, of High Street, March, has held collections for Sue Ryder’s Thorpe Hall and Comic Relief.

Today, they presented a cheque for £60 to Jeni Baines, manager of the March branch of Sue Ryder, while another £65 has been raised for Comic Relief.

The community conscious takeaway, which dishes up currys, pizzas, burgers, kebabs and southern fried chicken, intends to carry out more collections in the future.
