THEY are used to putting their lives in danger tackling fires but on Saturday March’s firefighters raised almost £200 for charity hosing down cars.
March firefighters charity carwash at Tesco,The firefighters set up base in Tesco’s carpark, in March, and washed dozens of cars during the day.
The car wash, which is one of many that are currently taking place throughout the county, raised £192 for the Firefighters Charity, which supports firefighters who are injured on the job and helps with their rehabilitation.
