The first food and craft fair celebrating the best of the Fens took place at a boutique style camping site in Wisbech.
The Secret Garden Touring Park in Wisbech staged its first Fenland Midsummer Food and Craft Fair.
On-site allotment gardener and chef Danny-Lee Seeley talked about seasonal produce and what recipes to explore over the summer.
Laddies, of Holbeach, served up ice cream, while Deeping Fudge sampled its mouth-watering delicacy.
Representatives from Wisbech apple and cider producer Watergull Orchards and Mile Tree Brewery also ran tastings.
East Anglian salad producer G’s brought samples and Paul and Maria Day, of Bramblebee Farm, showed their herd of pedigree Gloucester Old Spot pigs.
The event at Mile Tree lane was not just about food - there was also the chance to discover more about Fen history.
Peter Clayton, of Octavia Hill’s Birthplace Museum, talked about the history of Wisbech and the North Level Internal Drainage Board explained the important work they do to keep Fenland free from flooding.
Also at the event was Vivien a vintage fire engine.
The campsite is a relaxed, five acre, 15 pitches site focusing on the enjoyment of wildlife.
On site is a small herd of Gloucester Old Spot pigs, chickens and a diverse range of bird and mammal wildlife, including green & greater spotted woodpeckers, jays, barn owls, finches, hedgehogs, stoats, moles, hares, muntjac deer, foxes, voles and rabbits.
Seasonal insects are also widespread, attracted by the nectar rich planting within the wildlife garden and the ongoing management of the meadow.
