Youngsters scaled a climbing wall that represented the iconic Big Ben tourist attraction to raise money for school funds.
Around 140 students at Thomas Eaton in Wimblington climbed the equivalent of more than six and a half times the height of the London landmark to raise money.
PTA treasurer Anne Appleby said: “Children, teachers and us PTA had a go, it was a fantastic day.
“The idea was to have a sponsored event with a bit more adrenaline to it and I think this definitely ticked the box.”
Peterborough-based firm Outstanding Events rigged up the 7.2 metre high wall for the day in the school grounds for what proved to be a popular PTA fund raiser.
The next fund raiser is a bag pack at Sainsbury’s and the summer fayre in July.
