A drop-in service has been launched for people living with cancer or life limiting illnesses in Fenland.
Free, confidential benefits advice will be available at the Macmillan and Hudson Palliative Care Unit, North Cambs Hospital, Wisbech.
The unit is run by Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust in partnership with Rural Cambs Citizen Advice and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The drop-in sessions take place on Mondays from 10am to 11am, with booked appointments from 11am to 1pm.
Oonagh Tucker, Macmillan/CAB welfare benefits advice service leader, said: “The team can assist with all types of benefit queries.
“They can carry out benefit calculations to find out what people may be entitled to claim, assist with benefit claims and complete forms for people applying for charitable grants and transport concessions.”
