Crews called to flat fire in Norwich Road, Wisbech


Cambs Fire crews were called to a blaze at a second floor flat in Norwich Road, Wisbech, last night (November 9).

Two crews from Wisbech were called to the fire at 7.55pm.

Using breathing apparatus and hose reels, firefighters extinguished the fire and used positive pressure ventilation to clear the smoke.

“All persons were accounted for,” said a Cambs Fire spokesman.

The crews returned to their station by 9.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
