A spokesman for Norfolk Police said officers were called at around 8.40am to the A1065 to reports of a lorry colliding with a tree near to the Grimes Graves turning.

The air ambulance was called to the scene and the road was closed in both directions at the A1065 Mundford roundabout. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent one appliance to the scene just after 9am.

The road was closed in both directions and is likely to remain closed for some time, according to the police spokesman.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact Sergeant Andy Hood at the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Wymondham on 101.
