Permission has been sought for a nursery which can cater for up to 30 children in Chatteris.

Fenland District Council are considering an application by Sandra Carver, of The Willows Day Nursery (Chatteris) Ltd, to convert 8 Station Road, Chatteris, which was formerly a florist and flats, in to a day nursery.

The nursery would be open from 7.30am-6.30pm Mondays to Fridays and not at all at weekends or on Bank Holidays.

To alleviate traffic concerns on Station Road there would be staff parking only, which would be limited to three spaces.

The nursery would collect elder siblings from Burnsfield and Glebeland School and provide for them a homework room.
