A library held a special coffee morning and decorated bicycle competition to celebrate the Tour de France coming to Cambridgeshire.

Visitors to Chatteris Library also enjoyed a cycling themed story time and book sale.

Margaret Allen, chairman of organisers the Friends of Chatteris Library, said: “The coffee morning went well with visitors enjoying tea and cake in the library’s Vermuyden room.

“There was a library story time with a cycling theme which was organised by library staff. We are looking forward to our next event which will be a cottage garden plant sale on August 16.”
