Car collides with house in Chatteris

A woman suffered slight injuries when her car collided with a house in Chatteris yesterday.

The incident occurred in Wenny Road at 6.20pm.

A fire crew from Chatteris used specialist cutting equipment to release the trapped woman before returning to their station by 6.55pm.

An East of England Ambulance and police also attended the scene. The road was re-opened at 8.40pm.
