Elgoods Brewery has won an award for its Black Dog beer

WISBECH brewers Elgood and Sons LTD have won an award for their beer.

Their ‘Black Dog’ beverage was crowned Champion Mild of East Anglia by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

The award qualifies Black Dog for the Great British Beer Festival next summer, where it will compete for the title of Britain’s Champion Beer.

Black Dog is a 3.6 per cent AVB traditional dark mild beer with a rich. malty flavour.

If we are to encourage cyclists to use the roads, we need to make the roads safer and more welcoming. Much of this can be achieved by reducing the speed of traffic. Where there are 20mph limits in place, there is no excuse for cyclists to use pavements.
