THE search to find Fenland’s cutest baby has started with a special photography studio taking heart-warming pictures of smiling youngsters.

Brother and sister Roxum 30 months and Oakley 8 months, having their picture taken during the Cambs Times and Wisbech Standard Baby of the Year at Babee Boutique in March.

The Cambs Times and Wisbech Standard’s 2012 Baby of the Year Competition launched today - and a photographer from the Portrait Group will be at Babee Boutique in High Street until Saturday February 11, between 10am and 4pm every day.

There are three competition categories, 0-18 months, 18-36 months and 36 months to five years. It is free to enter, and photographs will be available to buy.

All pictures will appear in the Cambs Times and Wisbech Standard, and readers will be able to vote for their favourites.

The winner in each group will be awarded a black and white contemporary portrait, courtesy of the Portrait Group.

• The Portrait Group will set up a studio at the Co-operative Store in Wisbech from March 6-10.
